  Update: The negative review that states that the positive reviews are from staff is incorrect. I am unrelated to the school other than our 3 children attending.
  
  All 3 of our children attend this school. It is an incredible environment and very inexpensive for a private school.
  
  The staff literally "lives" for the children. We only have one opportunity at raising our children and with the number of hours they spend at school, our children's paths may be guided as much or more by their experiences at school than from our parenting at home. It is critical that their guidance and experiences at school shares the same beliefs, values and goals for our children that we instill in them at home.
  
  We are so thankful to have this school providing a safe and supportive environment for our children. The devotion and dedication of the teachers and staff is priceless and will reflect forever in our children's lives.
  
  Best investment we have made into our children's education.

  Mark Roland, Burt Bosworth and their families provide a loving environment to spread the word of Jesus love and grace. It took me too many years to find a church family that celebrates true Christianity as written in the Bible. Rather than worshipping a religion, this church worships and glorifies God. Both Mark and Burt work tirelessly for this church and school; they don't expect or require praise as they see what they do as a directive from God. Bless them in their work. I thank God every day for Calvary Bible Church and praise them for what they do for children through this fine school.

  My 14 year old son attends this school and I am grateful to God for this ministry of Calvary Bible Church. This family of believers is a beautiful picture of Christ and His kingdom. This school (filled with children of sinners , Lord willing, saved by Grace through faith) is what it professes to be ....a .Christian School. Mark Roland and the beautiful testimony of his and his families lives are one of 2 reasons i sent my son to Calvary after homeschooling for 4 years. The other reason is the testimony of the Boswoth family. The entire Bosworth family does their best to lead us by example to Christ.

  To Pam: Ms. mcNelly, I am sure it was not easy to write a negative review but we all wish we knew who you are. We are like family at this church so when someone comes and goes and feels so aggrieved, it hurts us all. How could we all not even know you? We are such a small, intimate setting...it is hard to believe we missed you and caused you such hurt. I am sorry about that! I do not perceive Calvary as you do and Mr Roland, over the past 4 yrs I have been at this church, has taught me more about what it truly means to be a Christian than any other pastor I have ever had the privilege to learn from. I have found him to be a loving, kind and open man of God. I have watched him with the children and the "flock" and never saw a thing for which I would fault...and I have been around a long time! I am not a deacon, teacher or family...just a seasoned woman who watches and listens. I hope you will come back and give Calvary another chance. Introduce yourself...I am there every Sunday and would like to meet you, listen to you and perhaps pray with you. Maybe I could help you see things differently. You seem a little angry and upset with this church and I would love to help you get past that. You may chose not to make this your home church but it makes me sad to see you leave angry.

  We moved to the Myrtle Beach area about two years ago. One of our priorities was finding a good Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church. After visiting quite a few local churches, it didn’t take long to settle on Calvary Bible Church. For each church that we visited, we reviewed their Statement of Faith/constitution. This one stood out as the leader by far. We appreciate the leadership and solid, positive Bible preaching/teaching that we receive from both Pastor Bosworth and Pastor Roland. They are truly men of God who exemplify Biblical standards for pastors in all areas of their lives. They pour their hearts into the ministries of both the church and the Christian school. Their standards are above reproach. We thank the Lord for these two men and their families who tirelessly devote their lives to this ministry.
  
  We both have been Christians for over 50 years and feel totally at home in this growing, loving, caring church. The congregation is comprised of young families as well as seniors who are well established in the faith. We have felt at home ever since we walked in the door for the first time. Come try it for yourself!
